For Sha-Rock, is a collaborative project created with filmmaker April Martin. The video was displayed in Caught Looking, a group exhibition screening at PNC Baseball Park in Pittsburgh, PA. The work is a tribute to Sha-Rock, one of the earliest female rappers and member of the 80s popular group Funky 4+1. For Sha-Rock memorializes the role of beatboxing within hip hop expression and shifts today's problematic readings of the culture as solely a male centered practice.
