Rap head: "I love hip-hop and hip hop loves me" 2003, is a 6-color silk-screen and lithographic print made in collaboration with EGRESS Press and Research at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. The work displays a self-portrait surrounded by the faces of male rap artists. The phrase rap-head supports the portrait showdown. The work explores my relationship to hip-hop culture in a humorous and seemingly confrontational manner.
